ABOUT US
Established in 2017, Step and Shine Foundation literally envisions to take a significant ‘step’ forward to ‘shine’ the lives of people in destitute, the homeless and the elderly. Step and Shine is a network of Ghanaian Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) promoting an equitable provision of resources to the needy in society. We are working tirelessly to ensure that we put a smile on all people within our project capture line – especially vulnerable groups such as the poor, marginalized, homeless and children in orphanages. We hope to ensure that more than 1000 children living on the streets have access to quality education by 2025.
Together, the SSF works with you, HELPFUL DONORS to push for advocacy, capacity-building and health screening for our victims. Our projects and programs are monitored to ensure effective implementation and achievement of our goals as an organization. In turn, our victims are our smile and drive: their happiness makes all the difference

As an organization, the SSF affirms:
- The rights of communities, individuals and services providers to demand and secure the health and lives of our victims.
- Mutual recognition and respect for the different roles, values and objectives of our beneficiaries.
- The safety, education, health and psychological wellbeing of our beneficiaries in an ever-crunching economy as Ghana.
Sponsorship makes all the difference
When you sponsor a child, you care for and encourage them through prayer, letter writing and financial support. That support empowers us to individually and holistically meet their needs in a loving, safe community where they can learn, grow, play and dream. When you become a sponsor, you are personally connected with a child who will know your name and treasure the thoughts that you have about them. Your support gives a child life-changing opportunity to develop spiritually, emotionally, physically and economically. It’s a relationship more powerful than poverty — changing their life and yours!
